! It's been a while, eh? I've been so busy recently with work and school!
Thank you (if you still are seeing and interested in my work) for being patient! A little project of mine has been to Incorporated some of my ideas and characters inspired by all of the video games and things I've been watching that I love, like Overwatch, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, Ghost in the Shell and more.
But what's this
weird poster I threw together just compiles and recycles a bunch of art I've made previously of characters that will probably make it into a comic that I have planned. That's why the styles are so mixed for this poster alone. The idea of this comic began life as a bunch of ideas from those games I like, like Mercyboss and Switchboss. But then, it sprouted into an idea much more than it currently is with a bunch of ideas of my own.
A comic you say? What is it about?
Oooooh, you like yourself a bit of mystery? The tang of overdosing on flair? The smell of a gourmet Metal Gear and Overwatch inspired styles? The damp underbelly of a strange, confusing and mysterious lore? And a spoonful of an even weirder sense of humor? In semi-high definition 2D comics?
All of this (no promises) and more in...
Hypnogogia.A wonderfully terrible synopsis of my current ideas:
The adventures of Switchboss and Mercyboss- Existing secretly as leaders in their own territory, but as operatives in the rest of the world that seperated them. Life can only be unified again with 2 core AI fragments with minds of their own. Yes, the fragments have legs. And Arms. And bodies, now that I remember. Also, one is a bit loco-crazy. Both are, actually. Nobody said find them was going to be easy. Well, Switchboss said it was. But most people know he's really
overconfident. This is the founder of the 'eye patches are cool club
' we're talking about here.
There's much more to be said, but if you're interested, and I'm interested, this comic may become a reality (one that will shock your socks off, hopefully).
This comic will definitely have some headway at some point in the future. I've got plenty of ideas and plot written down. Who knows? Not me. Not you. I like to keep you (and me) on your toes. (why am I on your toes now?)
I know this kind of thing may take time, and not many may see or care too much about it, but it's something that I care about and hope you may be as well.
I'lll still try and make some regular art whenever I can though.
Thanks for reading! Lemme know what you folks think!
you guys! Thanks for your support!
